The Pacific Energy NEO 2.5 Insert LE is the larger contemporary option in Pacific Energy’s insert lineup. It is designed for homeowners who want to transform a larger existing masonry fireplace into a serious source of wood heat without giving the room a traditional insert appearance. Pacific Energy currently positions the NEO 2.5 Insert LE for larger spaces, making it the natural step up from the NEO 1.6 Insert LE when more firebox capacity and heat output are needed.

Its 2.5-cubic-foot firebox accepts logs up to 18 inches, with 16-inch firewood recommended for easier everyday loading. The firebox uses east-west loading and provides a 165-square-inch viewing area, giving the NEO 2.5 a strong visual presence while still maintaining the clean, low-profile look that defines the NEO insert family.

Under the contemporary exterior is Pacific Energy’s catalytic-free combustion system with Extended Burn Technology (EBT). The insert also uses a high-capacity baffle, 304 stainless-steel internal components, multi-port combustion air injection, floating-firebox construction, an integrated heat exchanger, and single-lever air control. Two 80 CFM temperature-actuated variable-speed blowers are standard to help pull heat away from the fireplace cavity and move it into the room.

For finishing, the NEO 2.5 Insert LE is available with contemporary trim in metallic black or stainless steel, along with standard or oversize surrounds. That makes it a particularly good fit for updated homes, modern renovations, and customers who want the heating ability of a larger wood insert without the decorative arches or cast-iron styling of Pacific Energy’s Traditional and Alderlea models.
