The firebox accepts logs up to 18 inches, with 16- to 17-inch firewood being the more practical everyday size. It also supports north-south loading, meaning the ends of the logs face the door. This makes it easier to load the stove fully and reduces the likelihood of firewood rolling forward against the glass when the door is opened. Under standardized testing, the Super platform produced heat from approximately 12,500 to 38,200 BTU per hour, while Pacific Energy lists up to 72,000 BTU when burning cord wood.

Like the standard Super LE, the Classic uses catalytic-free secondary combustion with Extended Burn Technology. Pacific Energy’s EBT system helps manage secondary combustion air as draft conditions change, while the stainless-steel baffle system and floating firebox are designed to handle years of repeated heating and cooling. A single-lever air control keeps operation straightforward, and the airwash system helps maintain a cleaner view through the glass.

Where the Super Classic LE separates itself is appearance. The steel firebox is clad in lustrous porcelain enamel, with coordinating choices for the door, decorative legs and trivet.
