Overview

The Pacific Energy Vista Insert LE is designed for homeowners who have an existing masonry or compatible factory-built fireplace and want to turn it into a more efficient, controllable source of wood heat. It is the smallest traditional insert in Pacific Energy’s LE lineup and is intended for small-to-medium heating applications, making it particularly useful when the fireplace opening or the home’s heating demand does not justify moving up to the larger Super or Summit inserts.

Its 1.6-cubic-foot firebox accepts logs up to 17 inches, with 16-inch firewood recommended for easier everyday loading. The Vista Insert LE provides a 152-square-inch viewing area, giving customers a good view of the fire without requiring an oversized appliance. Pacific Energy’s air wash system helps reduce deposits on the glass, while boost air assists during lighting and reloads.

Like Pacific Energy’s freestanding LE stoves, the Vista Insert LE uses a catalytic-free combustion system with a high-capacity baffle, stainless-steel internal components, floating-firebox construction and a single-lever air control. Two temperature-actuated 80 CFM variable-speed blowers are standard, helping move heat away from the fireplace cavity and into the room. This is an important difference between an insert and a freestanding stove—the blower system plays a much larger role in distributing usable heat from the appliance.

For finishing, Pacific Energy offers metallic black, nickel and brushed-nickel arched-door options, along with either a 37″ × 28″ standard embossed surround or a 42″ × 30″ oversize surround. That gives us flexibility when covering older fireplace openings or matching surrounding trim. For a customer who likes the traditional Pacific Energy look but needs a compact insert rather than a freestanding stove, the Vista Insert LE is the natural starting point.
