The Traeger Woodridge Pro Plus is built for someone who likes everything about the Woodridge Pro but wants a cleaner, more organized outdoor cooking setup. Cooking performance remains essentially the same as the Pro: you still get 970 square inches of cooking space, a 24-pound hopper, Super Smoke® Mode, Keep Warm Mode, WiFIRE® connectivity, and a maximum cooking temperature of 500°F. The difference is what happens underneath the grill. The Pro Plus replaces the open lower storage area with an enclosed cabinet designed to keep grilling tools and accessories protected and close at hand.
That makes the Pro Plus less about cooking more and more about creating a better place to cook. If your pellet grill becomes a permanent part of the patio—and tongs, gloves, thermometers, liners, trays, and accessories seem to multiply every summer—the cabinet is genuinely useful. It gives the grill a more finished appearance while reducing the amount of equipment that needs to be carried back and forth from the house.
The cooking side remains very capable. Super Smoke® Mode is there when you want more smoke flavour during low-temperature cooks, while Keep Warm Mode can hold finished food when dinner timing does not cooperate. The 970-square-inch cooking chamber gives you substantially more space than the base Woodridge and is large enough for Traeger to rate it for up to six chickens, eight racks of ribs, or eight pork butts depending on how the food is arranged.
WiFIRE® connectivity lets you monitor compatible grill functions through the Traeger App, and the integrated pellet sensor allows you to check hopper levels remotely. The included wired meat probe tracks internal food temperature, while the grill also supports compatible wireless thermometers. Traeger’s EZ-Clean™ Grease & Ash Keg continues to collect grease and pellet ash in one accessible location, helping reduce the amount of cleanup required after longer cooks.
Compared with the Woodridge Pro, the decision is straightforward: buy the Pro Plus if the enclosed cabinet and cleaner workstation are worth the step up for the way you use your patio. You are not paying for additional cooking capacity or a different smoker—you are paying for better storage and a more finished outdoor cooking station. If you already have plenty of nearby storage, the regular Pro delivers essentially the same cooking capability for less. If you want your grill to function as a self-contained setup, the Pro Plus makes more sense.
Putting the warmth in winter, the sizzle in summer, and the pizzazz in patios!.
