The Valor GE3 and GE4 bring modern electric fireplace technology into a traditional fireplace format. Rather than the long, narrow proportions of a linear electric fireplace, these models create a taller, more familiar fire presentation that works naturally in existing masonry fireplaces, traditional surrounds and new fireplace installations.

Available in two sizes, the 27-inch GE3 is the more compact option and is similar in scale to Valor’s popular G3 gas insert. The larger 33-inch GE4 provides more presence for bigger fireplace openings and is proportioned similarly to the Valor G4 gas insert. Both can be installed as electric inserts when converting an existing fireplace or incorporated into a new zero-clearance fireplace project, making them particularly versatile for renovations.

Inside the fireplace, choose from Birch, Driftwood or Splitwood logs, along with a standard glass fuel bed. Customizable flame effects, fuel-bed lighting and ambient lighting allow the appearance to be adjusted to suit the room, while built-in crackling-fire sound adds another layer of atmosphere. Full-view glass keeps the focus on the fire without unnecessary visual obstruction.

Both models provide supplemental electric heat and can operate on 120V or 240V, with up to 2,800 watts of heating capability when properly connected to 240V. The flame, lighting and sound effects can also be enjoyed independently from the heater, making the GE Series useful throughout the year. A thermostatic remote and mobile app provide convenient control over the fireplace without sacrificing the traditional appearance that makes the GE3 and GE4 so versatile.

Choosing Between the GE3 and GE4

GE3 – Compact & Versatile
The 27-inch GE3 is the natural choice for smaller existing fireplace openings, tighter renovations and rooms where a larger electric fireplace would feel disproportionate. Its dimensions closely follow the scale of Valor’s G3 gas insert, making it particularly useful when converting a traditional fireplace to electric.

GE4 – Larger & More Substantial
The 33-inch GE4 provides considerably more physical presence and is better suited to larger fireplace openings, wider surrounds and rooms where the GE3 would look undersized. Its proportions are similar to Valor’s G4 gas insert, creating a fuller traditional fireplace appearance.
