The Valor H3 is one of the most versatile fireplaces in the Valor lineup. It gives customers a substantial, traditional fire presentation without requiring the wall space and scale of the larger H5 or H6. For an average living room, family room or renovation, this is often where we would start the conversation.
Its 27⅞” wide × 17⅜” high viewing area provides plenty of visible fire while keeping the overall fireplace relatively compact. Natural gas models offer up to 25,000 BTU of input, while propane models reach 24,000 BTU. Both have good turndown capability, allowing you to enjoy the fireplace during milder weather without always running it at maximum heat.
Heating is where the H3 becomes more than simply a good-looking fireplace. Valor combines radiant heat through the glass with natural convection, so a blower isn’t required to distribute useful warmth. The battery-powered control system also allows the fireplace to continue operating during a power outage—an especially practical feature for New Brunswick winters.
There is plenty of flexibility on the design side as well. Different log sets, liners and fronts can take the H3 from traditional to contemporary, while optional Valor HeatShift™ provides additional flexibility when designing a fireplace wall around televisions and heat-sensitive finishes. For customers who want a fireplace with good heat, a substantial fire and plenty of customization without moving into an oversized unit, the H3 is an excellent all-around choice.
