The Valor H5 is the natural step up from the H3 for customers who want their fireplace to make more of a statement. Its 29⅞” wide × 19¼” high viewing area provides 575 sq. in. of visible fire, giving it noticeably more presence without moving into the much larger proportions of the H6.

The H5 is also a very capable heater. Its V-Class burner operates from 16,000 to 30,000 BTU, with Valor publishing a maximum heat output of 22,857 BTU/hr and a 71% EnerGuide rating. A built-in secondary heat exchanger enhances natural convection, complementing the radiant heat from the fireplace without making a blower necessary.

Design flexibility is another H5 strength. Birch, driftwood and traditional logs can be combined with six different liner styles and fronts ranging from a clean installation kit to the more decorative Edgemont Craftsman. Optional HeatShift™ can reduce temperatures above the fireplace, while compatible HeatSplit configurations provide another option for managing where the heat goes.

The H5 offers a larger fire and stronger visual presence without overwhelming an average living room or great room.
