The Valor P2 is a compact fireplace with considerably more capability than its size suggests. Its tall, narrow fire presentation makes it a particularly good choice for bedrooms, dens, smaller living rooms and renovations where we want a genuine heating fireplace without dedicating a large section of wall to it. Rather than trying to imitate the wider H Series, the P2 uses its vertical proportions to create its own distinctive look.

One of the P2’s biggest advantages is installation flexibility. Valor designed the 200A platform for both zero-clearance and qualifying insert applications, with coaxial and co-linear venting options available depending on the project. That makes it a useful model to keep in mind when we’re dealing with an awkward renovation or an existing fireplace cavity where a conventional zero-clearance fireplace may not be practical.

The current P2 uses V-Class fire technology and gives customers four very different fuel-bed choices: birch, driftwood, traditional logs or coals. Pair those with plain black, charcoal brick or reflective glass liners and a selection of fronts ranging from the clean 1″ installation kit to the substantial Richmond cast front, and the finished fireplace can lean contemporary or quite traditional.

When space is limited, installation flexibility matters, or the customer simply prefers the P2’s taller proportions, this little fireplace deserves serious consideration.
