Overview

The Weber Slate 17″ Tabletop Griddle is the compact choice for anyone who wants to cook breakfast, smash burgers, or stir-fried vegetables outdoors without finding room for a full-size griddle. Its 272 sq. in. cooking surface gives you useful space for everyday meals while keeping the setup manageable for a small patio or a trip away.

The pre-seasoned, rust-resistant carbon-steel cooktop is ready to use out of the box. It has no non-stick coating, so metal spatulas and scrapers can be used on the surface. Weber says the cooktop reaches over 500°F, giving you the heat needed for searing and crisp burger edges.

One burner and a precision control knob keep operation straightforward. After cooking, grease can be scraped into a front-access collection tray. Four adjustable feet help level the griddle on an uneven surface, and an expandable stand is available separately. If you regularly want two temperatures at once or more room to spread out, the 22″ Slate is the better fit; the 17″ earns its place when space and portability matter most.
